Thanks to google, i can fix my friends netbook. Problem is the netbook can connect to an access point , get IP Address and the DNS Properly, but can’t access any website. I’ve tried to ping to some website but no luck, only ping successfully to the DNS Server and other LAN devices.

After few hours googling, i get a website told to do some steps to fix the issue.

    1) Reset the TCP/IP stack.
    Start/Run/Cmd
    netsh int ip reset reset.log
    netsh winsock reset catalog

    2)Use the WinsockFix Utility
Download the WinsockFix Utility from the following link:
    http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Network-Tweak/WinSockFix.shtml
    Restart and then ControlPanel/Network Connections.
Right-Click Lan Connections and choose properties.
In the general tab double click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and
    re-enter the details .

That’s all and finally i can browse any website page.

**It seems a virus/malware has made the netbook unable to connect to internet.**
